WILLING WORKERS WORKFORCE MINISTRY

FaithWorks InterFaith Ministries Network has organized area homeless panhandlers who are willing to work a full day for a $20.00 donation towards purchasing their basic human needs of housing, food, medical care and transportation. Called the Willing Workers WorkForce Ministry, homeowners needing an "odd job" performed around their home picks up a qualified Willing Worker at the Town and Country Affordable Cottages at 1717 West Cervantes Street (between K and L Street), works them for the day and returns them back to the Town and Country Affordable Cottages before sunset. Screened, qualified and trained Willing Workers are available from sun up to sundown six days a week. No work is performed on Sunday. To reserve a qualified Willing Worker for your next "odd job" needs, call FaithWorks at 377-0767 or email rick.dye@faithworksnetwork.com or just come by and pick up a qualified Willing Worker at the 2370 North Palafox Street at the corner of Bobe Street and Palafox Street.

FaithWorks is an interfaith ministry, not for profit organization dedicated to the elimination of homelessness in the community. Are you a local employer, homeowner, contractor or property manager? Do you need day-to-day qualified workers or just someone for a couple hours to do a job? The Willing Workers Program has a number of qualified, skilled, insured laborers ready, willing and able to work on any day of the week (except Sunday). Payment is made to the Supervisor after the job is satisfactorily completed. If you are not pleased with the worker’s performance, full reimbursement to you for the cost of the job will be made by FaithWorks InterFaith Ministries, Inc.
